Culture Transition - How we adjust to change

All change begins with an ending or some form of letting go to accept the change. Intellectually, we accept change, but emotionally, we may still resist that change. So what are some of your strategies to assist you in 'letting go' of one thing to grasp on to another? When relocating to another country, state, city or town?
